It expresses velvety sensations of black fruit sweetened by notes of cherry and plum, tanned tobacco and ancient woods. A totally Friulian, autochthonous Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso that expresses itself here with a harmonious elegance poised between the suavity of the bouquet, minerality and its full-bodied presence on the palate, leading to a sustained finish.

COLOR
Intense ruby red with brilliant purplish hints on the rim.
SCENT
The nose is dominated by typical notes of small red fruits, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries. Warm hints of plum and cherry in alcohol harmonize with light balsamic notes. On the finish, lively spicy nuances blend with the notes of liquorice, vanilla, coffee and chocolate reminiscent of the nose, yielded by lengthy ageing in wood.
TASTE
The palate it is full, rounded, with great structure and an excellent balance between the natural acidity of Refosco and the great softness of the tannins, re-introducing the fruity and balsamic notes that fade as the spices emerge again on the finish.
