The estate's vineyards, immersed in the terroir of Aquileia, boast ideal soils for the cultivation of a small quantity of highly expressive Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Careful vinification and adequate ageing in the bottle produce a wine that combines grace and intensity in the glass and is capable of evolving over time. The wine owes its name to an ancient Celtic settlement that was already familiar with viticulture and which, in the following centuries - thanks to the love of wine of the Romans who conquered it - became a very important production centre for the whole Empire.
